Danielle makes you smile the moment you walk in, the owners treat you like family and everyone else is generally great!
5 Stars all the way!!!!!
This salon makes me so happy! Zach is my guy who I see religiously every other week. I love and adore him he knows his stuff when it comes to nails, of course he is so fun too! He is patient with me since I am extremely hard on my nails (he has to replace at least 1 every 2 weeks because I pick them a lot). My nails are always to perfection and up on the latest trend, I am complemented a few times a week on how beautiful they look.
I don't write reviews after one visit... as of yesterday, I've been there 6 times and my daughter has been there once or twice....
I enjoy the service but I must speak on an experience that I had a month ago that was disturbing. The young lady attending to my nails cut me very deeply and did not understand me when I was explaining to her that I was bleeding. She began explaining something about the design on my nails. Finally, when she understood what I said she began speaking in a different language to lady next to her and laughing. In addition, she wanted to continue attending to my cut finger as if it was not bleeding.
Overall it's ok; it's clean, new(er) equipment, sanitized and roomy. So why 4 stars and just OK...? I gave 4 stars instead of 3 for the sole purpose of the woman manning the front desk. I would like to point out she is always amazing... multitasking and juggling calls, money and clients, a job that is typically overlooked and taken for granted in a busy salon. Shes always smiling, and clearly doing her best to accomodate the multitude of walk-ins. I also heard her dealing with an incredibly rude customer on the phone; she was calm, well spoken and completely professional. Very refreshing! The pedicures and manicures are higher priced than other local places, and the quality of service you get depends on who attends you. Some technicians have been great and worth the extra, some not so much; technically, a few of the younger ones aren't as good and don't appear to be interested in the satisfaction of the client, based solely on their attitude and quality of work, or their response when you ask for something to be fixed. Some have a larger language barrier than others, sometimes this is secondary, but always a consideration. So overall, I'm hoping to find someone that gives a good pedicure and stay with them...otherwise I'll try another salon if the bad experiences start to outweigh the good.
I asked for some sort of band aid and she got a cotton, dipped it in an anesthetic liquid and dabbed the wound. This was a frustrating experience because she never apologized nor did appropriately address the situation. It did not help that there was a major communication barrier and the situation was exacerbated when she began speaking loudly in a different language to the lady next to her, who kept looking at me. I am not sure if they were talking about me but it was an unsettling and uncomfortable situation.
I love thier pedicures, so relaxing! I also get my nails done. Happy with nails too but still can't find the one person I really like. Any suggestions??? Who is the girl who sits in the last table on the right hand side??? I would like to try her.
Every pedi i have gotten there has been great, i now found Ellie who could be my best friend. She talked to me about my tattoos and showed me hers does a great job even did the 47 dollar pedi and her massage on my feet ( im a massage therapist) was amazing!! Highly suggest her !
